During November i opened an current account at the mentioned bank and all my debit orders were switched to the new account. As i tried to draw money when my pension were paid into the new account the auto teller stated "account unknown". At the Diamond Pavilion service branch where i opened the account the staff tried their best plus to assist me but the card were not activated or something which only Head office could fix as were stated when the above mentioned ladies phoned them, My debit orders did not get paid due to this and i had to pay all by myself, however when the card were "fixed" the debit unpaid charges of R55 each were deducted by the bank. This was not my mistake but Standard bank head office are guilty. WHY SHOULD THEY PENALISE ME FOR THEIR MISTAKES???
