In November 2012 I changed from a debit account to a cheque account. I was promised by the consultent that all my debit orders will be transfered to my cheque account. In December none of my debit orders went off! After being on the phone with Standard bank for an hour, she promised that all my debit orders were loaded on my cheque account. These were just empty promises. Today I received a calls from people threatning to hand me over as my debit orders had not been paid. I honestly regret ever doing business With Standard Bank. Not even my Standard Bank credit card payments went off my account.
