During the morning of 06 November 2013 between 09h00 and10h00 i went to the Standard Bank Diamond Pavilion Mall Auto to withdraw money. My request for withdrawal were in and the Auto Teller made noises as if the money were counted inside and then kept quiet for a while and started again to "count". Then the machine shut down stating "Hierdie masjien is buite werking probeer weer later" but it retained my bank card and the cash i was supposed to receive. I then had to ask another person to check on the Absa Auto Tellers for a number to phone as there are no in case of emergency or retained card numbers at the said Standard Bank Auto Teller. I phoned the 0800020600 number and the operator after collecting my account number and details said she cancelled my card, i should go to the Branch in the Mall so they can issue me a new card and reverse the money i did not receive back into my account. At the Standard bank Branch they did issue me with a new card but stated they can not reverse the money till the Auto Teller were checked and the money should be reversed the following morning. To date still no reversal and today i were told next week. This is ridiculous why should i wait
