Standard Bank
Mix up with debit order switching

I opened a new cheque account at Standard Bank Lakeside mall on the 26 April 2013. After two weeks i had to go back and ask why had i not received any feedback, i was given excuses i had to sit another fourty five minutes whilst going through the process of opening a bank account, i gave strict instructions that my debit orders must not be switched to this new account for May as we are already far into the month and my salary will only be paid into this account in June. On the 27th May my salary was paid in my Nedbank account like I expected but to my dismay none of my debit orders ran through for the month. I went to Std Bank where I was told that my debit orders where processed for May and no one could explain as to why such had happened. I had to draw cash from Nedbank which cost me R206 to draw, never mind the risk of being mugged the R14400 that i had on me. I deposited that money into my Standard bank account which already had a negative balance from the unpaid debits and overdraft. Now i have to pay for the R240 for unpaid debits and R175 cash deposit fee. All in all this account has been to costly. My reputation at ITC marred, my time, R205 240 175 in charges.
