NO FEEDBACK ON APPLICATIONS

On 2 December 2013 I've recieved an email from Discovery inviting me to apply for a Discovery credit Card with all benefits listed. I send through all required info. I received a call on 3 December 2013 to say it was declined since I am on Debt Review. I explained that I am no longer on Debt Review and has not been for a couple of years after which I sent the neccassary docs to confirm. The call centre agent confirmed that as soon as she has received the info, that they will reconsider and will have an answer for me in 24 hours. Since then I have heard NOTHING. I have sent an email on 6 December 2013 requesting feedback and after I had still no feedback I again sent an email on 11 December 2013 requesting feedback. WHY ARE WE INVITED TO APPLY FOR SOMETHING AND THEN AFTER EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SENT THROUGH AND EXPLAINED, WE NEVER HEAR FROM THE SUPPLIER AGAIN??
