On the 6th December transfer money through EFT at about 11H00 am. Then at 21H00 or 22H00 a phoned to recall the transfer. A claim was lodge then Noluntu told me it will take 7 days to resolve the matter.
I phoned almost every second day to find out what is happening. They told they are still busy. After seven days has past with no one phoning as promised, I phoned told me it is 7 to 14 days no longer 7 days. On 18th I received an sms not phone call as promised telling me my recall was unsuccessful. First you say it takes 24hrs to 48 hrs to for the money to clear. But in this case it seems the transaction took 30 minutes to clear. I have reported this before the 24hrs period but still you couldn't stop the transaction. Now am wondering how safe is my money with capitec bank as other banks can do this within 72hrs, your bank takes forever and at the end with no results. Merry Christmas to Capitec management and staff, enjoy it while some of us will have a black Christmas. Bless. Will go to other banks, I thought highly of you guys but I was wrong.
