I thought you were better Capitec

I have just opened a Capitec account after hearing they are so much better than the other banks. On the 23rd of September I deposited a cheque at the Festival Mall branch in Kempton Park - the cheque is from Ekhuruleni. I was told at the time of deposit that if I paid the R70.00 special clearance that it would take 7 days to clear. Today is 4 October - 9 days later and it has not cleared. I called the call centre (ref # 10024280) and was told - oh, it is 4 - 10 days to clear apparently - you are just the same as as other bank - same attitude, same service, same, same, same. I need that money asap and was expecting better service than this.
Very disappointed Capitec, very.
