Poor service

During October 2012 i visited Standard bank, Pretoria central. I was approached by one consultant and introduced to me one of their products. I became interested and gave her my particulars to quote me. After she phone and told me that my application for RCP is approved, and as i was not banking with standard bank, she told me that she will switch debit order to standard. I had to run and call and arrange with institution to make arrangement. To my surprise today 01.02.2013 a lady called to say i had to pay an amount of R2049. today or before 12pm tomorrow. I told the lady that i will go and check with standard bank, when i got there one lady check on the system and found out that the debit order was not loaded with the correct bank. instead of Standard bank she wrote Absa account which is closed. I feel that i am not liable for interest occured on that account, and will not be able to affort to settlel that amount due to other commitment. I will only manage to pay an amount of R2049. month end February 2013. Dissatisfied.
