I have a new home loan from Standard bank, I moved in to my new apartment on the 1st of May 2013 with out the Registration having gone thought yet thus paying occupational rent. So the 10th of July I called Standard Bank and asked when will my first instalment go off and the lady said if the registration happens in June the first instalment will go off end July and I was happy. Now come end June and my registration came through on the 12.06.2013, so today the 26.06.2013 I called Standard bank again to check and they said that the first instalment will no go off end JUNE. I mean really I phoned in on the 10th and they told me a different story, I already paid my occupational rent fot June where must I get the extra money for the instalment? I phone in to Standard bank and after spending 28min on the phone with them being transferred from department to department no one could help me they just said "sorry the debit order is already loaded and my system cant move it to end July". Really Standard bank can honour their words??? I don't have the extra money for this instament as I planned according to the conversation I have with Standard bank on the 10.06.2013.
