On the 14th December 2013, an amount of R7953 money was deducted by an eft, from my cheque account without my knowledge or consent. I went to the bank in Sunnypark to check who might have took money from my account. the consultant told me it was the credit card division who took the money. That was the shock of my life, I knew that I owed them money and I was paying monthly through their lawyers and I was in communication with them and we arranged that I pay the agreed amount every month. I went to the bank this morning thinking I will get help, but I was told I cannot be helped, they gave me a phone to call the legal department, I was holding for 2hours with no consultant to help. tried to ask to speak to one of the branch managers but I could not as I was told that I must call the call centre.
the slogan used How can we help you, is a bogus one as no one is able to help you. the money that I borrowed for school fees and uniform for the kids was by fnb from my account. if there was a problem with the arrangement why was I not contacted by the bank to say that it was rejected.
