In August 2012 I made a loan with Std Bank of R20 000.00 and signed a contract to pay up a debit order of R1118.97 on the 25th of each month. On the 25th of May 2013 Standard Bank deducted three times the amount they were suppose too on my account, went to North End Branch to enquire about the extra money deducted on my account. I was told am 3 months and 32 days behind with my installments and my case has been sent through Vertex lawyers to pay up with them. I asked the consultant who was helping me out to pls print my bank and loan statement for me, in both statements from their system it showed i was only 1 month outstanding and the lady couldn't explain the 3 months and 32 days. I demand to speak to the manager who was not helpful and kept on telling me 2 call the loan department coz they are not dealing with the case. to cut the long story short i was told by std bank to transfer my loan account to Vertex and pay through them to settle the outstanding amount and STD bank would stop deducting money from my account but this month both STD bank and Vertex deducted money for this month. At Std bank i was told am not getting my money back i must sort it out with the lawyers.
