On the 25th on November 2013, ive lodge, a query at my branch at Rivonia, on the 24th of November 2013.monies has been withdrawn from my Absa check account without my permission, the case had only been referred to the department on the 13th of December 2013. 18 days later, I went into the branch to find out how far are they with my query, I was told, that I was going to get feedback by COD that day. I've been given the details of the person who was responsible for handling my query, on Friday the 13th of December I called Johanna Cecilla Van Deventer, she stated that by COB I will get feedback regards to the progress of my claim, still no feedback by Monday the 17th December 2013, I had to take the ownership of calling endless to find out, what is the outcome of my claim, only to find out that because my cheque card was used to withdrawn the funds they cannot refund me because the card was used with a pin, I was told that, my query is sitting at the department. my question is, how come they couldn't tell me where they money was withdrawn from, which ATM was used, in my understand is unauthorised use of my banking facilities without my permission/ know
