My husband has a personal loan at african bank. The debit order payments go off against my bank account every month on 26 or 27. There are 2 payments due each month. Today 13/12/13 they just deducted one amount and also has the odasity to send me a sms to make payment for the other amount. First of all, who gave them any permission to deduct in the middle of the month. I phoned and explained that the deductions are going off my bank account and I want to know why they deducted today. She did not want to assist and asked that my husband phoned. He then did phone, the call centre agent also had the odasity to ask him then when must they deduct the december payment - hallo what a question. It should be no different from any other month. She also promised that the amount which was deducted today will be reversed within an hour. Needliess to say, it is more than 2 hours and no payment has been made to my acccount. This money is my survival money till the next payday and I now have to wait and fight for my money which is due to their own stupidity and negligence. I want this money in my account today as well as the bank costs.
