Recently went to FNB as i decided i would like a card that i could purchase goods online with. So after finding a suitable time i went and waited for almost an hour while the teller changed the most bureaucratic information on my account; just so i could receive a basic card that worked on the internet. After finishing several levels of a bad game i finally managed to get a shiny gold card from FNB - GREAT... except it doesn't work on the internet. Only within South Africa. This was never mentioned once even after i repeated the word internet about a quadrillion times
The thing i spent an hour of my day on was a complete waste of time and money. I'm not sure if this is negligence or just a really bad understanding of the word 'Internet' (To me the word 'internet' means that global form of communication. Not a small percentage of it) - but either way i refuse to go back and spend another hour waiting for the correct card.
Sort. This. Out!
