It took me an hour and eight minutes to do a simple deposit at the FNB branch in Braamfontein. I have used this branch on 2 previous occasions and the service was also bad, this time i had to speak out. There are 4 Teller booths but only 2 are working, sometimes there is only 1 Teller working, meaning we must wait for an hour to complete a simple transaction.
At this time of the year i would think that more staff is employed as we all know that this is a busy time. When i asked to see a manager it took 20 minutes for her come from her office in the back and acknowledge the problem. A good leader rolls up her sleeves and works with the other tellers, but no she sits in an office at the back not aware of the frustrations of clients. The levels of service are pathetic and need to be sorted out quickly otherwise i simply have to take my business elsewhere like Nedbank where the ques are never long.
