Capitec Bank
I want my hard earned money back

I went to the bank on 14.09.2013 to do an internal transfer from 1 bank to another, the consultant asked if I would like to register for mobile banking. I first declined because I believe it is unsafe but after he insisted that it is saver than inter-net banking I registered and signed the necessary papers. On the 15th I received a sms from Vodacom saying they received request to block my sim due to phone being lost or. I phoned Vodacom confirming that I have my phone with me. At no time I gave my bank pin nr to anyone, they just asked what tipe of phone I have, do I make use of the point system and to confirm my nr. After that the so called consultant said sorry the person on the other line says the nr must be 22 at the end and not 23. First they transferred R 1000.00, then R 4000.00 and also bought R100.00 airtime for MTN and I am Vodacom. I did draw R10000 myself and only then I saw my balance and phoned the 24 hour bank line to stop the mobile banking. The next day I visited the bank to report what happened. After their investigation they admitted I was a victim of mobile but that they do not take responsibility for it and their not liable to pay me back.
