Wow, what Highway, STANDARD BANK, purports to be ethical. On the morning of the 29-01-2013 a debit order went off my acc for R 155.05, this showed a negative balance as I am busy with litigation with my Employer so my salary was not paid in to my acc. On the 29-01-2013 I went in and paid R 260.00 into my acc to cover this, then I received an email showing I was in credit for R 5.16, so I thought all was okay. Then to my amazement, on the 30-01-2013 they reversed this transaction and even had the audacity to charge me for the costs, so now I have to pay another R 260.00 plus R 50.00 to my service provider. I sent them an email stating the facts, they then responded, saying this debit was on 28-01-2013, but they only reflected this on the next day, I find this daylight as all the transactions reflect the 29-01-2013. they are a huge financial institution and seem to look for any avenue to ROB their Customers, using pathetic excuses, If as I pointed out to them, I make any transactions on my acc it reflects immediately, but what a pathetic excuse to move the goal posts when it is a debit order. Typical mindset for them
