Thinking of closing my accounts

I am not happy with FNB, for displaying a payment that is closed and paid up on ITC. When I were declined some time ago on a personal loan, I asked for the reasons why. I was told because of one account outstanding on my ITC report. I told the agent that I don't know about this debt and that it is in dispute with the credit provider. She told me once this is sorted I must try again. After some time, this account was closed and shows as paid up and a R0 balance. I noticed that when I applied for credit online, the one account as per your records reflected the amount that was previously the instalment on the account in question. I didn't accept it, yet FNB still told my I was declined, due to an adverse listing on ITC. I did fall behind on accounts when I was retrenched and paid these accounts, even though it took longer than expected. All these accounts are now paid up and I've had some credit with other banks, that I've been paying 100% every month. At this point in time I feel that I would rather close my accounts with FNB and take my business elsewhere. I really tried to build up a good name with FNB, but seems this will never happen. Hope someone can prove me wrong.
