1st Claim and already BAD SERVICE!

I had my car broken into last wednesday - called and got a quote of what my excess will eb to replace my window, then went hunting for quotes. When i went to the window place i was told that there was damage to the lip anf rubber of the window which would need to be repaired as well. I then decided same day to claim from my insurance as would cost me more than just having a simple window put in. Went to police, got the quote and then started called again. Always got through to "call back" department, got refrence number and no call back, this happened twice until I was eventually told that a manager would contact me back, got another refrence number and no call back. the next day i had the work done as I couldnt drive around with a broken window!! I got a call back the next day, but was driving so asked agent to back in 5 mins - never called! then called the friday and eventually got to correct department, gave my information the saturday - no call back. Only an automated email! sent email Yesterday for an update - only automated response again! this si my 1st time taking insurance and all the 'bending over backwards" ads - WHAT A LOAD OF BULL! after this I'll be calling around...
