I applied online for an account on the 28th of September, on the 4th of November I received an email stating that my account has been opened and that it is restricted until they receive all my documentation. a week passed then they called to arrange my card and collection of the paperwork. another week went passed and I received the card and gave all my paperwork in. this was on the 18th. today I still have no response from the bank and I still cannot use this account! I called the call centre and spoke to Samantha REF15971088 and she told me she will escalate it to the relevant department, they will contact me in 48hours (this remains to be seen). so now I have to wait another 2 days for someone at nedbank to wake up??? surely to open a normal "savvy" account should not take more than a couple of days? why a whole month and still nothing?? maybe I should have listened to "Steve" and gone to FNB!! PATHETIC is all I can say!!!
