On 7 August I received an sms advising that my account requires monthly deposits for it not to be restricted.
On 8 August I transferred money into the account. It remains restricted 9 days later.
This account maintains a positive balance with regular contributions, and debit orders which come off every month.
I have made repeated phone calls to find out why and unrestrict it, but have had no response or success.
I am not in the country, so am unable to visit my branch, but when I spoke to them they advised that they could not sort this out, and that it was an issue with the Legal Department.
I would like this situation to be rectified and to receive some sort of explanation from Nedbank.
