Mike Smit replied on my HelloPeter report & I sent him the following e-mail which he ignores.
Dear Mike, with regards to your HelloPeter reply:
MS: Upon investigation it was established that the account was sent to Polmed and not to Essential Med.
JV: Yes, the account was initially sent to Polmed, but as soon as I realised the error on Ampath's side, I contacted them and the account was submitted to Essential Med.
MS: We regret to inform you that the claiming period has lapsed and therefore you as client will be liable for the account.
JV: It was rejected as " Not a Carecross provider" on 15 February 2013. It is on the basis of this (possibly incorrect?) rejection, that my account has been handed over. If it was indeed rejected due to elapsed time, the rejection was incorrect from Essential Med's side. However, according to my knowledge 15 February was still within the time limit?
MS: We are bound by the rules and regulations as stipulated by our underwriters.
JV: I completely understand this, but surely you do not hold your clients responsible for administrative mistakes on your side?
All e-mails, with all accounts attached, is with Elize, Nicolene, Valerie & Ulyssia
