Me: Opens new Nedbank bank account, and moves R100k into the account, awaits formal settlement letter. Nedbank 07 Oct 2013: Debits R 59, 982.01 from my account. Nedbank Lawyers (Norton Lambrianos) Sent: 30 October 2013: Outstanding R26 076.91. Prepared to accept R 21 089.13 in full and final settlement of this account. Me: Protest! Norton Lambrianos 30 Oct 2013: Agree. We confirm that our client is prepared to accept R9 092.73 in full and final settlement of this account. Me: Where should I pay the R 9 092.73 to? Norton Lambrianos 30 Oct 2013: Advises. Nedbank: 07 October 2013: Debits R 25, 605.91 from my account. Me to Norton Lambrianos: Protest - no reply. Me to Nedbank Customer Care: Protest! Nedbank, Kate Botsane (Nedbank Customer Care) 19 November 2013: Refuses to accept proof of settlement arrangements. Me: Protests - with proof! Nedbank 21 November 2013: Please note the bank will not refund as your request for refund has already been declined. Do they think that they can just do whatever the like? This is!!!
