No feedback on a claim lodged

On 2 Dec '13 I lodged a claim on the ABSA website after the severe hail storm in Randfontein on 28 Nov '13. I receievd and SMS but no claim number. When I phoned on 6 Dec '13 to find out how far they are with the claim, they couldn't find any record of the claim. I relodged the claim on the 6th and received an SMS with a claim number on and also indicating that I will be contacted within 48 hours. In the last three weeks I have tried contacting the claims department on 010 211 5921 the number for the claims department provided in the SMS but you will hold on for 20 to 30 minutes without anybody answering the phone. Just the auto attended indicating that they are experiencing high call volumes. Tomorrow will be a month since the hail storm and still waiting for ABSA to send out an assessor let alone somebody to come and fix the damages.
