I have been a loyal Standard bank customer for 19 years, and have never thought of leaving my bank, even when Steve from FNB came knocking. Up until the 07/08/2013, I received my bank statements to my email address, however, I have not received any since then, nor to my home address. I need them for my tax return, as I had to pay R740 this year to have a years worth printed out. This morning, I have spent 43 minutes trying to get ahold of someone, to help me with this, to no avail. And I refuse to type my card number and pin over the phone, even if it is to Standard Bank. Why, must I know take off work to go into a branch, for something that is standard banks problem. "Moving you forward" Really?
