I have an bank acc with STD and capitec had one at nedbank as well as I would like to take an overdraft some time I was looking at getting anFNB acc as their benefits look promising. I then applied online as I thought it will be faster as I also work for retail in same mall as the FNB branch..after I applied for checque acc online I have been approved I then went to the bank to provide documents and collect the card. I have never in my life had worse customer service like I did today I was sitting in the Q for 40min ALL the customers complaint bout the terrible slow moving Q when I got to the consultant she was so rude!! I provided her with proof of residents and ID she said to me that they do not accept proof like this anymore my land lord must full a form!! Nowhere on the website it stated that!!! She did not try to help me in anyway! That is not the way to treat a NEW customer? I said to her she must cancel my online application she replied that she still need I filled form from my land lord to cancel it? I said but I'm not then registered as yet.
