Apparently there has been some issue with the payments people made onto their credit cards yesterday. I also made a trf to my credit card account yesterday. Surprise-Surprise when I had to pay for my gran's medicine - Declined, Limit Exceeded. How can that be? When I got back to the office, I called the call centre. The first guy did not have a clue what is going on. He put me on hold for 12minutes and eventually I got cut off!!! I phoned again and spoke to a very helpfull guy who told me there has been a problem. They are working on it and to say sorry from ABSA's side we are not going to be billed for monthly charges or something for a couple om months. Thanks, but I still need money to pay for goods. Very embarrassed!!!
