My husband had an operation on his back and Essential Med authorised same. When it came time to pay, they refused saying that he was not in the hospital for the full 24 hour period, as he was discharged one hour prior to his occurring - even though we were still in the hospital hours after same.
I am inundated with calls from the hospital etc for payment and am left in dire straits. Essential Med is a and if they do not rectify this, I will certainly take this my journalist friend who would have a field day. I want this sorted out asap!!!
