Good day Mike (policy number 1200761)
I have a complaint with essential medical aid. i will admitted to the Bedfordview clinic on the 02/10/2012 since i collapsed in the causality, the hospital admitted me. Due to Nicolene Williams not obtaining an authorization number, i had to discharge myself from the hospital. On the sunday morning, she advised me that the medical aid deposited R11000 at the hospital and that i was to be re-admitted. Various tests were done including the following for services rendered: Xrays R666 and R2222, Dr Spitco-R1200, Dr Sofianos R1049, Dr Gordan R676. The above has not been paid since last year October. I received a call on my phone at work where all calls are recorded where Nicolene Williams advised that all the bills have been paid by the medical aid. This was also confirmed when my husband phoned her. Injanuary i was shocked to establish that none of the above has been paid. I tried to query this with Nicolene who is now not taking my calls and i have sent her various emails with no response.
