No response to email complaint

I've sent Essential Med Insurance an email upon experiencing issues when the doctors suspected I have IIH and wanted a lumbar punch and other tests done. I understand that I would have to pay for the specialists but the hospital and tests are not covered?! In the Essential Med policy document point 3 HOSPITAL INSURANCE PLAN - on page 14 it states "All that is needed for hospital pre-authorisation and the payment of a stated benefit to cover in-hospital expenses irrespective of procedure, consultation or service is your Essential Med card and policy number." This seems to be extremely misleading!!!

Im extremely disappointed in the decision made by the medical insurance not to cover the stay in the hospital due to the ICD code not being covered. I was not advised that this insurance will not cover hospital visits. What am I paying for???

I sent them an email and received a ticket number but no one bothered to come back to me. I recently cancelled my policy in writing but I havent even received as much as a survey to ask why.

I am in the customer services industry myself and I don't think I've ever experienced such bad service before.
