Today I went to Northgate to register a change of address Told i had to see a SERVICE CONSULTANT and I was 6 in the queue.30 MINUTES LATER was called (my had been crossed of in the interim) I showed the lady my levy account at my retirement village .that has worked at Nedbank and several other places. I was then told it was not good enough and I needed a letter from the Flower foundation as well. That was the rule and tough luck..
The Consultant was not rude but dear she did not win a prize for friendly.. Any way the off shot of this very unhappy experience is that I have closed my account .and it was a positive balance card. Standard bank wont loose a big spender but I sure was would never recommend the most sad inefficient service and customer flow I have had in years
