The branch could not help me

I deposited cash into my credit card so that I could book my flight online. When the transaction did not go through I called the airport branch because they open till late and I was advised to go there. I drove from Pretoria at night and when I got to the branch they told me they could not help. I then asked to close the credit card because I was desperate to book a flight for my sick mother to travel for urgent medical aid but they refused and told me to wait for the following day. I want to close my accounts at Absa today.
