I went to Absa Festival mall in Kemptonpark on the 29 October 2013 to pay up and close my Absa credit card. I had to call credit department for closing balance, paid it went back to inquires where they called the credit department again to confirm. I needed to answer questions and was asked why I want to close and if I am sure I want to close. Said thanks but no thanks please close my accound. The lady at the branch took my card and destroyed my card.
After 2 weeks I received a sms that my account is a till active called in spoke to a lady at credit card department said sorry she will sent in request in will be done the monday and will receive a cal from them to confirm. Nobody called
Today I received an email with my absa credit card statement I called stop card division spoke to a man who confirm that my account is still active!!!
Who is not doing their work I will not pay any admin fees of any kind!!!
This is one of the reasons we left Absa poor service
