Absa just doesnt care!

My husband and I am (soon to be were) customers of Absa for more than 12 years and went through them to obtain a bond on our first house. We were told we prequalified for R3 million for a second home so we confidently put our house on the market and applied for the bond once we had an offer. They not only declined our application 3 times but refused to give us the reasons why we were declined. My husband has opened an account with Investec and I have opened an account with FNB and we will be closing our Absa account. They do NOT care about loyalty or even understand customer centricity. People are moving to other banks because they care about them as customers. Absa declines applications but refuses to offer a plausible explanation. I urge you all to do the same! Get out while you can!
