I am an absa client and have a current acc, credit card and a personal loan with absa. Your consultants are quick to call you back when doing the application but dont give a to give you feedback if the application is declined!!!
I have applied for another personal loan for R40 000 with them. I did not get any feedback from the bank and today when I called to query, they say my application is declined due to affordability. Even though I dont pay for my bond (as my husband does and you can see this on my acc), despite getting a monthly allowance from my husband of R2500 each month (which they cannot take into acc cos its given to me as cash) they cannot grant me this loan? I have never declined on any payments, I dont pay for any other expenses besides my own. My husband pays for everything. RCS and Standard Bank is will to give me this loan but I want it with Absa so that my loan can be one joint loan with my current loan with absa. This is extremely disappointing. Absa is just as bad as the other banks!! If you have no faith in your clients, how can your clients have faith in you???
