My loan account is set on Auto Capitalization without my approval, this lead to 2 payments being offset by the Absa system and reflecting my account 60 days overdue.
I was contacted by the Absa call centre informing me that my account is overdue, I informed the agent payments were made prior to the debit date and were not properly allocated by Absa
I was requested to visit a branch, fill in form 2557 this will solve my problem, I visited Absa Westonaria was able to speak to a consultant had the form 2557 filled in and submitted but my request was not granted as the Absa Computer System now requested a mandate number to change the AUTO CAPI setting from Y - N
I was requested by the consultant to give her time to attend to my issue she will feedback to me on Friday my visit was on Saturday, NO FEEDBACK WAS RECEIVED
6 Phone calls by the call centre and 3 visits later to Absa Westonaria the issue is not resolved NO FEEDBACK, a letter was issued by ABSA stating my loan insurance has been withdrawn resulting from none payment.
I filled a complaint 0800414141 and given ref # 2587038 and was promised contact in 72 hours NO FEEDBACK RECEIVED I followed up with complains department N.F.R
