ABSA Life Insurance has very BAD SERVICE

I settled my Home Loan account in full with ABSA in January and paid all outstanding amounts needed to release my papers to me which I am still waiting for. In July I received a letter to say that I owe the Life Insurance an amount of money after I signed a debit order form with ABSA on the day that I settled my Home Loan account. There was also mention of another amount that has to be paid to the lawyers who needs to supply me with the papers I need. I have sent an e-mail to ABSA to request feedback and received a call from the Life Insurance department to say that they will investigate but since then I have not had any feedback and received another call from the Lawyers demanding the money from me. I tried calling the ABSA callcentre again but held on for 35 minutes with no luck!

ABSA raves about service and why you should join their bank but they are not even capable of giving simple feedback and following up on their customer complsints! It took 7 months for them to realise that the debit order never went through and that after I called and informed them of the fact as a query!

BAD SERVICE is not even the words to use!
