I have a vehicle policy with Outsurance. So while driving my TT a stone came up to the windscreen a now a stone chip is evident. I called the call center thinking that they would like to be afforded the opportunity to fix this windscreen asap as it could develop into a crack and then it needs to be replaced. The lady at the call center informed me that this repair would come with a 250 cost and I would loose my no claim bonus of R3850.00. I told her that it does not make sense as if i repaired it on my own would cost the same R250. I them sent an email on 04/11/2013 to the complaints email that they have on the website and no response till now. I rather be told that they don't fix stone chips than to be told that the repair costs the same as I would have paid and on top you loose your no claim bonus... The stone chips happen to anybody, if you drive on the road, you going to get one sooner or later...
