Approximately 6 months ago my vehicle had 3 windscreen stone chips repaired by an agent from Star Bright during a service at Kempster Ford Umhlanga.
The work carried out was completely unsatisfactory- the repair work done left the windscreen in a worse condition than it was in before the repair was done.
After many complaints, Jason from Star Bright came through and agreed the work quality was unsatisfactory and attempted to repair/ polish the original repair work (drilled out the filling- reapplied the solution and applied polish to the affected area).
This increased the surface area of the stone chip substantially- hence damaged the windscreen
The service manager Neville stated that the windscreen needed to be replaced as they had damaged it- its now been 6 months and with multiple emails and complaints and no response other than we are looking into the issue.
I just want my windscreen replaced or repaired properly.
