Loan application still no feedback

I applied for a loan online last week Thu, and went to the branch on Friday afternoon with all my paperwork. I got excellent service from the agent there and the whole process was explained to me thouroughly, I am sitting with so much disappointment right now as there has been no further communication from African bank's side. I called the branch yesterday to follow up, and was told that they still need to confirm my employment, and I specified to the ladies that our HR dept only takes calls within certain times everyday, I have checked with our HR no calls to confirm my employment. This is my first encounter with African bank, and I am very disappointed as the lady at the branch assured me that everything would be sorted by Monday at the very latest. To make matters worse, I received an sms from African bank this morning indication that I must take my documents to a branch? I did that on Friday already, can someone at African bank please help process my application today?
