We stood surety for my Daughter in 2006 for a one account. FNB lost 2 years payments on there system in 2006-2008 when changed to a home loan account. Account was in trouble in 2011, Paid in R50 000 to bring back to original amount of R275 000. Party stoped paying in 2012, we new nothing of this until Bank manager gave us a court order. On the 18 January 2013 which was sent to the wrong address on the 20 November 2012. Paid in R30, 428 on 18 January to stop court order. Paid full account almost R400 000.00 to receive our original title deeds on the 1 August 2013.
We have been pushed from department to department only to be told the Account has nothing to do with us so that no information pertaining to this account will be given to us. We have had no contact from the Home Loan department what so ever and have been requesting non stop the name of someone with Authority to no avail.
The loan and some was paid in full by us and my Husband is very ill, in heart failure and has not got long to live and would like this taken care of. The bank MUST GIVE US OUR DEED BACK AND DEAL WITH MY DAUGHTER INSTEAD OF PASSING THE BUCK TO MORE MONEY OFF US.
