First National Bank
Applied for a extended amount on my Homeloan

Me and my partner applied for an extended loan amount on our existing Homeloan account, the application form was given to us to complete and they confirmed that this will take 48 hours, 2 and a half weeks later they approved this, the assessor came out a week later to evaluate the property, no one gave us feedback on anything that is happening. My partner than contacted the division and he was informed that this will take 2 months as they are waiting for the title deeds from the Deeds office, he than contacted the attorneys for FNB and they informed him that there is someone that can push the deal through quicker, however we have to pay the person R 2500.00, money that we do not have as this is why we asking for a loan.

What I would like to know is how was the bond registered without the bank having the Title deeds of the house, we now of a few people that applied for the same thing and they were paid out within 4 days.

Please make me understand why is this taking so long as we do need the money me and my partner is clients with the bank for over -10 years.

I am really not happy with the service and attitude we getting from First National Bank and they staff members.
