Take long to respond

Maybe after 8 to 10 months from my application a lady from credit card called me and ask if I had apply for credit card I said yes long time ago and she said come let finish it up then we conducted it until at the end where she told me I will get it at my branch from there things went allright but after several months my father passed away and later my brother as I was a bread winner that time I battled until I suspend paying this car but trying, so they sent it to attorneys were I apaid monthly but one time I got the money to settle it, and took a break, now I tried to apply for ne it does the same thing (the information given I don't qualify for one) why cause now I am planning to go to fnb as I have already opened a cheque account with them so that if nedbank doent help I must got to fnb as they promise also that I will receive a credit card also, but I need one of those people to do the application for me from nedbank I cant cope without that card cause somewhere when I travel thet need someone with that card to rent a car atc I will wait until they respond thank
