FNB Northgate Incompeteance!

My wife and I have a joint account and is Platinum Members. A certain payback had to be done to my wife, but only to an account in her name only.

So my wife went to the back to re-activate her old FNB Savings account. The person re-activated her account as she presented her ID and Proof of Residence. She asked if they could reset her Internet Banking login details, but she was informed to do this online. She was also informed that she doesn't need a bank card to do this.

We then proceeded and struggled to do this online, as the only way to reset it, was if you have a bank card with a pin. So I said to my wife to rather go back to the bank, get a card and then reset online banking details.

So, when she returned to FNB, she was informed that the account HAS NOT been reactivated, and she needs to activate it again!! WHY?? She must also produce new proof of residence!! WHY?? She had all the detail and presented all the detail the previous week already!

This is really messing us around. When you visit the bank, you expect them to deliver on their promises. I also cannot fathom why you cannot reset your internet banking details AT THE BANK themselves!

Poor FNB, VERY poor!
