An unfortunate occurrence happened today. my wallet was, with all my bank cards as well as various other items.
I was in the process of cancelling the old cards and to obtain new ones, when I got to FNB I was told that it would cost R75 to replace my old card, I mean what on earth??? is that card made of gold?? was it laminated in angel tears?
As I had an FNB card in the past I can honestly say that the cards issued are of poor quality and started wear out not even a year after I had obtained it. and they are not worth R75.
Ok it's just R75 but its also the principal that counts. Poor customer relationship building skills on FNB's part.
I would rather just close my account than be ripped off.
For future reference to all clients concerned, Absa charges way less.
