We have been issued with chip cards on our account. it seems that since they have changed over to access accounts that we experience problems to swipe the cards at any retailer for payment of goods or services, ie pick n pay and Sasol and spur. the card has been changed 3 times already. each time when a new card is issued, I have to pay the fees for reissuing the card. there are various customers of the bank experiencing the same problem. the transaction code say that the transaction has been declined. I feel that I am liable to pay the first fee on the issued card, but when the problem persist and the bank keep on issuing card without looking at the problem, I am not liable for any costs. further to this is that I cannot use the facility as intended, as with the crime and of people, I am forced to carry large amounts of cash. i urgently request your attention and feedback to this as well as resolve the further occurrence of the problem.
