Im getting calls over a Standard Bank credit card which was about 8 or 9 years ago. My account was handed over to them in August 2013 to make payment arrangements. And to top it off, they dont ask for your ref number but your cell number to access your account.
I was advised not to make payment because no contact has been made by Standard Bank or DMC for more than 3 years to recover the monies and the Prscription Act 68 of 1969 covers it.
So why now? I am sure that Standard Bank has already written this bad debt off.
