Failure to change accounts and debits
For the past half a year I have been trying to A) change my account from a student account to a cheque account and B) start paying my student loan with debit orders. I have gone in to the branch several times to do this and every time I am told that they are doing it while I'm sitting there, yet every time this fails to be the case. When I next go in, I am scolded for not having changed my account from a student account, as if I have decided to keep it that way because it is cheaper when I have been trying in vain to change it for months now. Finally, it was changed after several visits, yet now they have failed to put the debit order through to pay off my loan and I am told there is no record of a debit order, and it is still being taken off my mother's account. I also closed a savings account which had a debit order on it, yet I am still being debited to an account that is meant to be closed. I am changing banks as soon as I possibly can; I am sick of this.
