Dishonest Selling

Received a call from above mentioned company claiming that my life policy I currently have and is paying R110 per month is now changing and is going to be only R97-99 per month and not R110. I was concerned that my benefits won't be the same, and they assured me that I will have the same benefits and more and that all the info will be posted to me. Upon receiving the info I realised that this is not the same at all and totally different (R300 000 life policy compared to a R30 000 accident cover), I called and cancelled this immediately right after the first debit order deducted from my account. A few days later my life policy debit order also got deducted from my account, I called and confirmed that the life policy is still active.
How can you claim to replace a existing policy with another just to make a sale. This is dishonest and. I was disappointed that my life policy is going to change after 5 years of paying, but was willing to see what the new plan has to offer. Disgusted to find out that it does not offer the same benefits and utterly disgusted when I found out that my original life policy was still active and that this all was just a.
