I have 2policies with Liberty- RA and invest. last month they billed the RA only and randomly debited my account for the invest pol on 14 October 2013 (my elected pay date is 25th). I kindly asked them to cancel that policy as they created problems for me and should have picked up the phone to give me options they can't debit MY acc how they see fit.
I was sent forms to cancel NO MENTION of supporting docs. I send the forms then I'm asked for proof of addy and id copy. i send the id copy along with a unisa letter I recently used to rica my phone. they tell me it's not sufficient via email mind you.
I find it puzzling that they have specific requirements when it comes to cancelling the policy and giving me back my money. Yet not too long ago they did a change of address with no additional information even when I took up the policy. I have sent proof of address I don't understand why this is being done.
Also I was told the surrender value yet debited on 25 oct. I requested to cancel before 25 October. Had I received all comprehensive information we wouldn't be here now. I want a refund of the premium taken on 25 October. And I want the RA cancelled as well I want nothing
